Oracle Cloud Breach Impacts 140,000 Tenants

ORACLE CLOUD COMPROMISED
March 2025 saw a massive disruption in enterprise cloud services when Oracle Cloud suffered a significant breach. A threat actor operating under the alias “rose87168” claimed responsibility for the attack.
The actor successfully exfiltrated 6 million records, involving sensitive SSO/LDAP credentials and Java KeyStore files. The breach rippled out to impact over 140,000 tenants relying on the infrastructure. The event underscored the immense concentrated risk associated with multi-tenant cloud environments and forced companies to re-evaluate their shared responsibility models.
